Certified Production Technician

A 180-hour program for this in-demand career has employers eager to hire, as this short term training gets you certified and career-ready. The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) credential system awards the Certified Production Technician credential that covers the four critical production functions, as defined by MSSC’s nationally validated skills standards, common to all sectors of manufacturing: Safety, Quality Practices and Measurement, Manufacturing Processes and Production, and Maintenance Awareness. Each area is addressed with a separate assessment to help determine the knowledge of specific situations that can appear in the field.

Admission requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (enrollment in CVCC Adult Diploma Program is acceptable). Valid government-issued ID.

Student PAYMENT PLAN is available to those who qualify.
