CVCC Partnerships

There exists a link between healthy, prosperous communities and student achievement within those communities’ schools.  Cuyahoga Valley Career Center recognizes this association and therefore works to develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to help equip students to enter the workforce of tomorrow.  Our partners include all sizes from all fields; from large healthcare centers such as the Cleveland Clinic to small manufacturing and printing businesses in the area.

Our partnership initiatives come in many forms, such as:

• Direct donations; monetary, general classroom supplies, equipment, etc.
• Contributions toward instructional programs and activities
• Volunteer projects
• Mentoring
• Guest speakers for classes or assemblies
• Job shadowing hosts
• Employability practice such as mock interviews
