The adult education department is a member of the University System of Ohio. Our certification, licensure and workforce development programs are approved by the Board of Regents, and students enrolled in certain approved courses can get college credit at public colleges and universities in Ohio.
At CVCC, adult education provides personalized attention, experienced instructors, and convenient schedules. Our career pathway options and technical skill courses can help you quickly gain the skills, industry credentials, state or national licensure you need to reach your career goals.
For those who prefer learning from home many online courses are also available.
Leisure classes provide additional opportunities for all adults to achieve their personal goals.
Employers can take advantage of our customized training services that are designed to meet their unique business needs. Additionally, we provide ACT/WorkKeys skill and pre-hire assessments for businesses. These assessments are a reliable way to measure skills and ensure employers hire the most qualified candidates. Successful candidates receive The National Career Readiness Certificate, issued by ACT, which verifies they have the skills for the job.
