HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA LUNCH INFORMATION

2025-26 National School Lunch Program Public Release

Cuyahoga Valley Career Center has selected the PaySchools Central payment portal for school lunch account management. You can pay for your children’s school lunches, complete a free/reduced application, find reporting, and more online, securely and quickly. See the following links for creating and managing your student’s PaySchools account:

Information regarding the Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program is provided to students and their families in July. See below for information included in the packet and how to access the free/reduced application through the PaySchools Central portal.

CVCC does not operate a Federal Breakfast Program, which would provide free or reduced priced breakfast to eligible students. Because of limited students served by the program, it is not warranted at this time.

SUMMER FOOD SERVICE AVAILABILITY

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a USDA program offered through the Ohio Department of Education. The program provides free meals to low-income children during school vacations. Throughout the United States, more than 26 million children eat school lunch every day when school is in session. Half of them receive their meals free or at a reduced price due to low income. The Summer Food Service Program offers those children nutritious food when school is not in session. https://sebt.ohio.gov/

In addition to Summer EBT, children under 18 years of age in your household can also receive free meals during the summer at a summer meal site. Call 1-866-3-HUNGRY or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (or text 914-342-7744 with the keyword “summer meals”) to find the location closest to you.
